The process began by identifying the main friction points users face when planning a trip. Through interviews and benchmarking existing platforms, we found that many decisions are made without clarity, often based on price or popularity rather than the type of experience the user actually wants.
Other key tensions included budget constraints, lack of personalization, and the disconnection between travelers and the impact of their journeys.
These insights helped us reframe the challenge: to design a platform that guides, suggests, and connects users to their ideal trip based on their motivations.
In this phase, we focused on transforming the traditional “search by destination” model into an experience that felt more emotional and adaptive. Based on the identified pain points, we designed flows that prioritize understanding the user before showing results: interests, mood, available time, type of desired experience, and budget.
This model allowed us to create dynamic travel packages, supported by a loyalty program that enhances trip possibilities. The process was fully iterative, with continuous user validation at each stage.
The design process was carried out in Figma, starting from low-fidelity wireframes to test structure and flow, and then moving into a clean, emotional, high-fidelity visual interface.
The final product was developed in Framer, which allowed us to keep prototyping logic active until the end, making real-time adjustments and delivering a fully functional website.
The result was a user-validated platform, optimized to guide, inspire, and transform how people plan their travels.
This project stems from a core belief: travel is not just about arriving somewhere, it’s about being transformed.
Ardena offers a different way to explore the world, rooted in respect for nature, local cultures, and meaningful discovery.
The design had to reflect and extend that vision, helping people connect with what they’re truly looking for, even if they didn’t know it yet.
